How to Choose the Neon Signs Backboard?

In order to guarantee the high quality operation of neon lamps. Typically we have five styles of neon backboard, including cut to shape, cut to rectangle, acrylic stand, free-standing open box, and wall-mounted out of the box.

Cut to Shape

This is one of the most common backboard styles and is a free option on our site. It cuts with the shape and size of the letters, usually equal to the shape and size of the letters, into any size and shape.

Free-Standing Open Box

Wall-Mounted Open Box

How to Hang on My Neon Signs？

We offer three hanging kits, the standard hanging kit, the wall mounting kit and the 3M command strip. For neon installation, you should choosethe appropriate mounting method for your environment and confirm the accessories and mounting location. The mounting method varies slightly depending on the fittings, so if you are unsure, you should ask professional for advice.

Standard Hanging Kit Installation Step 1

Verify that the kit component and the tools are complete and available. Find a stable ceiling or wall structure to keep the neon sign stable and secure when hanging.

Standard Hanging Kit Installation Step 2

Measure the distance between the holes in the top of the sign. Using these measurements, mark the location on the ceiling.

Standard Hanging Kit Installation Step 3

Use a 1/8" drill (#6) bit to drill holes where you've marked.

Standard Hanging Kit Installation Step 4

Set anchor, and gently tap into the hole until flush. Screw the ceiling mounting accessories into the anchor using a drill and screws.

Thread the top of the wire through the ceiling mounts.

Thread cable wire through one of the aluminum crimp holes. Then, thread wire through holes in the sign. Clamp the aluminum crimp tightly with wires. Ensure the wire is secured.

Ensure 1 cm of wire remains sticking out. If there is any excess wire, you can cut it off.

Lift your neon sign and place it against the intended wall or space. Get help if needed. Use a marker pencil (#7) to dot the pre-drilled holes.

Use a 1/8" drill (#6) bit to drill holes where you've marked.

Set anchor (#1), and gently tap into the hole until flush. Use the drill (#6) to screw the wall screws (#3) through the metal spacers (#2) and into the wall anchors (#1).

Place jelly washers (#4) on each spacer (#2). Line up the holes in your sign with your spacers (#2) and tighten with the wall mount screws (#5).

Admire Sign.

Wall-Mounted Open Box Kit Installation Guide

Verify that the kit component and the tools are complete and available. Find a stable ceiling or wall structure to keep the neon sign stable and secure when hanging.

Lift your neon sign and place it against the intended wall or space. Get help if needed. Use a marker pencil (#7) to dot the pre-drilled holes.

Use a 1/8" drill (#6) bit to drill holes where you've marked.

Set anchor (#1), and gently tap into the hole until flush. Use the drill (#6) to screw the wall screws (#3) through the metal spacers (#2), through the holes in your sign, and into the wall anchors (#1).

Put the clear acrylic panel on the front of your open box wall-mounted sign.

Line up the holes on the front piece of acrylic with the spaces (#2) and tightly screw the wall mount screws (#5) into the spaces on the back piece of acrylic.
